Following our renovation in 2021 we have officially changed from our original name as Spicy Ginger Café to now being titled 1980 Chinese Restaurant. Despite the big transition, our management and team remain the same. All that has changed is our upgraded looks and menu. We continue to serve old favourites like Cumin Lamb，Dry Chili Chicken, but have also included a new selection of fresh seafood dishes to choose from.

In terms of our new looks, we have renovated our VIP function room to accommodate up to 18 people in a large, luxurious surrounding. This space is also equipped with an in-built smart TV and an automatic mah-jong table for guests to enjoy.

In addition to the new VIP function room, we have also renovated our courtyard seating area to include 6 tables with the ability to cater up to 54 people at one time. This space was designed with comfort and elegance in mind so all guests can have the best experience possible while dining at “1980 Chinese Restaurant”.This courtyard area is also equipped with commercial air conditioning for maximum comfort and blinds that can be kept up or down at customers’ discretion.

Our new menu only includes top quality ingredients, and can be catered to the tastes of any customer. This fresh, tasteful menu is designed to be loved by all. Regardless of age or ethnicity.
